Andrew McPhail was born in Calgary Alberta in 1961. He completed both his BFA and MFA at York University. He has had recent solo exhibitions at the Robert Birch Gallery, Toronto; Glenhyrst Art Gallery, Brantford; Transit Gallery, Hamilton; New Gallery, Calgary; and upcoming at the MacIntosh Gallery, London, Ontario. He is represented by Birch-Libralato Gallery, Toronto and Transit Gallery, Hamilton and Artfirm Gallery in Calgary. He lives in Hamilton, Ontario.
